The goal of the 24 Hour Run is to bring our community together - to hang out with friends and make new ones; to catch up with people you haven't had the chance to in a while; to meet other parents; see teachers in a different setting; integrate grade levels and overall, just enjoy each other's company. However, we also have another goal, and that's raising money to support a group in our community. We raise money through the sale of t-shirts; food and sponsorship money/donations, and even with the difficult economic situation in Zimbabwe, we have raised more than $22 000 in 3 years!

Groups that we have supported:

2014: Kadyamadare School and Africa Goal

2015: Wildlife conservation and micro-financing initiatives

2016: KidzCan and Island Hospice

2017: Extremus K9 Anti-poaching

Africa Goal is an exciting and innovative project which harnesses the popularity of the football World Cup to address HIV and AIDS in the region of the World most affected by the epidemic. By naturally drawing crowds of those most at risk of HIV infection who have proven the most challenging to reach through more conventional health promotion methods – young people and, particularly, men – the World Cup provides an invaluable opportunity to provide HIV services, raise awareness and disseminate information about HIV and AIDS.

Kadyamadare, located in Juru Village, is a school that we have a wonderful relationship with. Our students learn all about life in a Zimbabwean village and Kadyamadare students join us in games and sporting events.

KidzCan is a non-profit organisation that supports children with cancer in Zimbabwe. They provide financial assistance for drugs, doctor's appointments, chemotherapy and more.

Island Hospice is a non-profit organisation that provides Zimbaweans with medical palliative care and also psycho-social support and counselling for loved ones. Through its staff, supporters, programs, research, advocacy and resources, this organisation continues to touch the lives of individuals, families and communities spanning every vulnerable group in society.

When we talk of conservation and the penultimate survival of a species, it is generally looked at with a view towards preservation for our future generations. Extremus Dog Training Ltd have teamed up with Daryll Pleasants of Animals Saving Animals to aid in the training and supply of anti-poaching dogs to specific conservancies and national parks in Africa and throughout the world;  with a view to assisting in the continued protection and continuation of the African elephant and both the black and white rhino, whom, if the poaching epidemic continues at its current rate will see there demise within 10 years.

We selectively breed, train and supply dual and triple role, tracking and apprehension dogs for designated conservancies throughout Africa. To date we have 4 Operational dogs currently protecting wildlife ranging from the Mkomazi National Park, Tanzania to Save Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe, with more of our dogs due to be supplied over the coming months.

Founded in July 2016 'Animals Saving Animals' works along side conservation organisations to assist in the prevention of wildlife crime through providing Anti-Poaching Dogs and training to conservancies and national parks throughout the world.

When we talk of conservation and the survival of a species it is generally looked at with a view towards preservation for future generations. However, if the poaching epidemic continues at its current rate we will see the demise of the African elephant and black rhino within ten years. Man has systematically brought these species to the brink of extinction and with this in mind perhaps it is time to let animals assist in their protection and continuation.
